Managing Time

Posted by MWolfe

When I first started college I was doing my homework on time and my assignments on time, but for the past three weeks I've procrastinated. It is a lot easier to procrastinate when all your assignments are not due the next day, instead they are due on a specific due date, allowing you to put off assignments till the very last day. I knew it would not be a wise decision to put off my assignments but I did, and I payed the price for doing so. After experiencing the pain of procrastination the old saying, "Hard world pays off over time, but procrastination pays off NOW!" does not seem as appealing to me as it used too, still funny though. Because I procrastinated, my entire week was me doing my math homework, practicing for my math exam, and writing a paper on piracy, this took a total of 30 hours in the short five days that I had. That mean't I was working on my assignments way into the night, and waking up the next day tired. I've learned my lesson, procrastination is not healthy. Allowing yourself to have balance in your days in the activities you do allows you to live more healthy and enjoy your life much more. I'm writing this blog way before it is due, and I hope I'll apply my anti-procrastination policies in the other stuff I have to do as well.
