The lady from the advising council came into class today to speak about using our brains when it comes to safety. She told us about real life occurrences of people being attacked and showed us examples on what we can do in order to make ourselves more alert. She explained to us on how to use the "key-trick" correctly, taught us urinal protocol, explained to us why we should use our less dominant hands to hold our phones while we talk, she explained to us the drugs being used on campus and how we can spot them, and she showed us how to make sure our drinks are not tampered with and how to hold them. Overall the good points of her discussion was that she got the point across to everyone, that everyone is susceptible to an attack. The bad points of her discussion was that she doubted herself and made fun of herself a couple of times during the discussion to get us to listen to her, cheesy.
